Cleveland Botanical Garden
Amy and Josh’s Cleveland Botanical Garden was a perfect day.
Please enjoy, Scott Shaw Photo | Cleveland Wedding Photographer
This was my first wedding at the Cleveland Botanical Garden and I had no idea how beautiful
the grounds would be for a wedding. I’ve been there many times but never
in the area where they have the weddings.
Things started at Josh’s parents home in Lakewood with the guys getting ready there. Josh
had secured a very special way to get to the ceremony. Many Clevelanders
know about the iconic Rocket Car and have seen it rolling down the road
over the years. Originally part of the Euclid Beach Amusement Park a few
of the cars were converted into vehicles by Ron Heitman. He drives them
around the area catching everyone’s eye.
Amy’s mother Josephine helped her get ready inside the Cleveland Botanical Garden and
walked her down the aisle along with her father Gary.
Pastor Dean of the Cuyahoga Valley Church performed the ceremony.
Then we had full access to the lovely gardens for portraits and also went inside the
Glasshouse. It offered the feel of the desert of Madagascar as well as
the butterfly-filled rainforest of Costa Rica.
We then walked around Wade Oval and the Cleveland Museum of Art grounds for more portraits.
Then we headed to Deluca’s Place in the Park in Lorain for the
reception via Shima Limousine.
Candy and chocolates were by Chocolate4U with the cake being made by Top Tier Cakes
and the flowers by Off Broadway Florist & Gift.
Josh is an airline pilot so the cake topper reflected that fact.
Josh kept an eye on groomsmen Patrick’s toast along with Joseph and Miranda who also gave toasts.
Thank you for viewing this wedding,
