Cuyahoga Courthouse Wedding

Liz and Mike’s Cuyahoga Courthouse wedding was a classy affair.

Liz and Mike got ready in the Hilton Downtown which could not be any more convenient for a Cuyahoga Courthouse
wedding. Just across the street and steps away. I loved the context of showing it in the background during
the preparation and first look photos.

They wanted to get some photos at Voinovich Park so we drove there to the get Cleveland sign with the Rock and
Roll Hall of Fame as a backdrop along with the Cleveland skyline.

Then back at the Hilton we assembled the wedding party and photographed them on the Mall area overlooking Lake
Erie. I loved the bridesmaids dresses with the various styles and the color was perfect for a late fall wedding.

The ceremony and reception were both held at the Cuyahoga Courthouse and my photo of Liz’s father, Robert, walking
her in was one of my favorites of 2017. Later in the blog was another 2017 favorite taken of the family
embracing during a dance.

There were so many great details at the wedding including all of the family photos of marriages over the years and
her gorgeous flowers by Molly Taylor Florists.

The cocktail hour on the second floor is always a highlight of a Cuyahoga Courthouse wedding.

Liz said, “It was the most beautiful venue we visited and we knew as soon as we walked in that it had to be our
venue. We loved the elegance and warmth.” I totally agree and the Cuyahoga Courthouse weddings are always wonderful!

Liz’s mother, Susan, and maid of honor, Lindsay, were very helpful helping her get ready.
