Rockefeller Greenhouse Engagement

Michelle and Will had two engagement sessions. A winter Rockefeller Greenhouse engagement session and another in the summer around Cleveland.

We took their engagement photos on a cold winter day in Cleveland and needed someplace
warm. It was my second time in the Rockefeller Park Greenhouse during the winter.

While a photojournalist at the Plain Dealer I had done some fashion photos there in the
winter several years before and it was nice to finally return.

We explored the rooms for an hour or so and then went outside for a few snow photos. It
was very cold out so that didn’t last too long! Then we drove to a mural I had always wanted to
photograph for some photos. I think Michelle and Will were thinking I was a bit crazy to do this
as they were quickly ready to get back in the car.

When the couple decided to get my reception signing album I felt we needed more photos
for variety to fill the book. They were happy to do another session in August. The day was warm
but not too hot and humid. Still it was a big contrast from the last session as we explored some
favorite locations in Cleveland.

It was fun to get to know them even better and spend time talking about some of our
favorite hobbies like, yep, craft beer.

I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Cleveland Museum of Art!
